Privacy Policy

Onrai Studio ("we", "us", "our") is a web development studio based in Australia. We operate the website at onraistudio.com. Our contact email is hello@onraistudio.com.

We collect personal information only when you voluntarily provide it to us. This includes:

• Contact form submissions. Your name, email address, phone number (optional), business type, and message.
• Enquiry and project communications. Emails, calls, or messages you send us directly.
• Domain lookup tool. When you check a domain at onraistudio.com/tools/domain-lookup, we receive the domain you entered and a summary of the public registration, DNS, hosting and email records the tool found. We do not record your name, email address or IP address with it.

We also collect usage data through the analytics and advertising tools described in sections 4 and 5. We do not collect sensitive information (as defined under the Privacy Act 1988 (Cth)).

We use the information you provide to:

• Respond to your enquiries and provide quotes.
• Deliver the web development services you engage us for.
• Send project updates and invoices.
• Improve our services.

We will never sell, rent, or share your personal information with third parties for marketing purposes.

We use the following third-party services that may process your data:

• Formspree. Processes contact form submissions, and notifies us of domain lookups, on our behalf. Your submission data is transmitted to Formspree's servers to deliver your enquiry (or the lookup summary) to us. See Formspree's privacy policy at formspree.io/legal/privacy-policy.
• Google Analytics 4. Records which pages you visit, how you arrived (for example a search or an ad), your device and browser, and your approximate location. It does not store your IP address. We use it to see which pages help people and which don't.
• Google Ads. If you reach our site from one of our Google ads, Google records whether you then contacted us, so we can tell which ads work.
• Meta Pixel (Facebook and Instagram). Records page visits and enquiries, so we can measure our Facebook and Instagram ads and show them to people likely to need a website.
• Cloudflare. Delivers the site and protects it from attacks, and counts visits without cookies.
• Railway. Hosts the site. Its servers process standard request logs (IP address, browser type, page accessed, timestamp), kept for a maximum of 30 days. Our own visit count stores a daily one-way code of your IP address and browser, never the address itself.

Google Analytics, Google Ads and the Meta Pixel load the first time you scroll, tap or press a key on a page, not before (on our ad landing pages, shortly after the page loads). Once loaded, they set cookies in your browser: Google's _ga and _gcl_aw cookies and Meta's _fbp cookie. These identify your browser to Google and Meta, not your name or email, and we never send them the contents of a form.

Google and Meta process this data in the United States and other countries outside Australia, under their own privacy policies.

You can opt out at any time:

• Block or clear cookies in your browser settings. The site works the same without them.
• Install Google's opt-out add-on at tools.google.com/dlpage/gaoptout.
• Turn off personalised ads at adssettings.google.com and in Meta's ad preferences at facebook.com/adpreferences.

Your personal information is stored securely and only accessed by Onrai Studio staff involved in your project. We take reasonable steps to protect your data from misuse, loss, unauthorised access, modification, or disclosure. However, no transmission over the internet is completely secure.

We retain your information for as long as necessary to provide our services and comply with our legal obligations. Contact form submissions are retained for up to 12 months. Project-related communications are retained for the duration of the engagement and up to 3 years after completion for legal and accounting purposes.

Under the Privacy Act 1988 (Cth) and the Australian Privacy Principles (APPs), you have the right to:

• Access the personal information we hold about you.
• Request correction of inaccurate information.
• Request deletion of your information (subject to our legal obligations).
• Complain about a breach of your privacy.

If you believe we have breached the Australian Privacy Principles, you may contact us at hello@onraistudio.com. If you are not satisfied with our response, you may lodge a complaint with the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner (OAIC) at oaic.gov.au.

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. The "Last updated" date at the top of this page reflects the most recent revision. Continued use of our site after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
