Plenty of the sites we look after weren't built by us. If your previous designer has moved on, we start with a health check and get the accounts back into your name.

The health check

  • Who holds the domain, the hosting and the logins
  • Whether backups exist, and whether they restore
  • What is out of date, and what it would take to fix
  • How fast the site really is on a phone
  • Whether the enquiry form actually reaches you

You get a plain-English list before you commit to anything.

Then, on a plan

  • Accounts transferred so the domain and hosting are yours
  • DNS moved carefully so your email keeps working
  • Backups running from the first week
  • The out-of-date list worked through, in order

We'll need admin access to hosting and the domain, and we document what we find before changing anything.
