How Much Does a Tradie Website Cost in Australia?

Most tradie websites cost about A$500 to A$4,000 to build, depending on how many service and suburb pages you need. Be wary of rental deals, where you pay every month and never own the site.

Where these numbers come from

Every figure below was read on 21 October 2026 from seven public Australian pages: the tradie pricing pages of five web studios and two published cost guides. As in our other cost guides, we've kept the numbers and left the names out. Some pages include GST, some exclude it and some don't say, so treat each range as accurate to about 10%. A "from" price usually grows once you add pages or ask for the words to be written for you. The written quote for your business is always the real number.

What each kind of tradie website costs to build

Small multi-page siteA$1,440–2,520Five to fifteen pages, often with a year of hosting bundled
Full tradie siteA$1,900–4,300A page per service and per area, job gallery, reviews, detailed quote form

AgencyA$5,500–7,500Workshops, strategy meetings and several design rounds
Build prices from five Australian studio pricing pages and two cost guides, read 21 October 2026. One studio said most of its projects land between A$990 and A$7,500. Ranges overlap because studios draw the line between "small" and "full" in different places.

What moves the price

Five things explain most of the gap between a A$500 site and a A$4,000 one:

  • How many services and suburbs you cover. A sparky who does switchboards, lighting and solar across 15 suburbs needs more pages than a tiler working one area. Pages are the biggest line on most quotes.
  • Who writes the words. Copywriting is often left out of the base price. One cost guide put core-page copy at A$500 to A$1,500 on top.
  • Photos of your own jobs. Phone photos of real work cost nothing and beat stock images. A half-day photographer runs about A$800 to A$1,500 if you'd rather not.
  • Features past a contact form. A quote builder, online booking, or a link to your job management software is quoted on its own and can double the price.
  • Whether you can edit it yourself. A dashboard to add job photos and change prices costs more up front and less every time you'd otherwise email someone for a change.

What it costs to keep running

Rental websites: check the two-year total

Some tradie website deals have no build fee and charge a monthly rent instead. One page we read worked through a A$400 + GST-a-month example: A$9,600 over two years, for a site you still don't own. Rental can make sense if cash is tight this month. Before signing, multiply the monthly fee by 24, ask what happens to the site and the domain if you stop paying, and ask whether you can leave without a fee. If the answer is "it switches off", you're renting.

When a cheap site is the right call

If you're a sole trader booked out on word of mouth and you only need somewhere to send people who already have your name, a A$500 to A$1,000 one-pager is plenty. Make sure it has your phone number as a tap-to-call button, your licence number, photos of real jobs and a short quote form. Spend more when you want new customers finding you on Google, because that takes a page for each service and each area you work in.

Where our prices sit

Our Starter package is from A$1,000 + GST for up to five custom-coded pages with a contact form and basic on-page SEO. Growth is from A$3,000 + GST and adds service and suburb pages, local business markup for Google, and a dashboard where you edit your own text, photos and blog posts. Both can be paid in six weekly instalments, and the domain, hosting and code are in your name. Growth's monthly plan runs from A$75 to A$2,000 a month + GST, depending on how much work you want from us each month. We'll design your homepage free before you pay anything, so you can see it first.
